Miriam Wüst is a senior researcher at VIVE. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Aarhus University in 2012. Her research includes work in health and family economics. Her main interests are child health and well-being, as well as policies to promote it. She also does work on the impact of family structure for families' well-being. In several projects, she has studied the impact of nurse home visiting for short- and long-run health outcomes, the causal effects of care around birth on infant health, longer-run schooling outcomes and maternal investments, the impact of access to high-quality preschool, and the importance of fathers' child support obligations for parental outcomes.
