This report is the first step in a joint evaluation of five initiatives under the action programme “Equal opportunities”: Subsequent care for previously placed young people, networks and conversation groups for vulnerable children and young people, 24-hour contact scheme for young people, social caretakers in youth residences and out-patients offers for young people, singles and vulnerable mothers. In total the report describes 40 test projects launched in 2009-2010.
The report provides an overview of the design of the test projects at project start and will form the basis for further evaluations. Data sources include project descriptions by participating municipalities and organisations, telephone interviews with project managers, as well as knowledge collected about specific local conditions.
The evaluation has been carried out for the National Board of Social Services by the Danish National Centre for Social Research (SFI) and COWI A/S.
