Implementation of Employment Policies in Denmark

This report describes the implementation of employment policies in Denmark. The report presents several Danish studies - scientific articles, evaluations and reports - that are concerned with various aspects of the implementation of employment policies in a Danish context.
The report is divided into five themes that describe a number of factors that affect the way in which employment policies are implemented and the results of the individual policy. The five themes are policy formulation, central management and inter-organisational relations, local management and intra-organisational relations, front-line professionals, and the importance of the target group.
Additionally, the report highlights a number of important questions and themes that are remain underexposed in the existing literature. For example, the importance of public management tools and local managerial styles, and whether differences between caseworkers affect the situation for the individual citizen with regard to the labour market.
The target group for the report is researchers, practitioners and others who are engaged in implementation of politics in Denmark.
