Social services in substance abuse treatment. Part 4

This is the fourth sub-report in a series of reports about social services in substance abuse treatment in Denmark. This series is based on a comprehensive survey carried out in the period December 2007 to May 2009. This sub-report focuses on initiatives to improve quality and quality standards in substance abuse treatment by the social services in Denmark. The other sub-reports cover the following areas: the perspective of voluntary organisations (part 1); the perspective of users and their relatives (part 2); treatment programmes and methods (part 3); assessment and case work (part 5); and results of the treatment (part 6). The main conclusions from these sub-reports are pooled in the main report. The study was commissioned and funded by the National Board of Social Services.
