The Danish Ministry of Social Affairs wants to strengthen research into disabilities in Denmark. This report identifies existing environments for disabled people in Denmark and other selected countries with which Denmark can relevantly be compared.
The report shows that Denmark has far fewer research environments than Norway, Sweden and the UK. It also provides a comprehensive characterisation of the nature of the research being conducted in the four countries.
The report has been commissioned and financed by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
