This report summarises the findings of a review commissioned by the Ministry of Social Affairs on the effects of the initiative to combat negative social inheritance. The study is based on a review of 54 project evaluations.
The report shows that the information in and preparation of the evaluations are often unsystematic and that the data quality is often too inadequate to assess the effects of the projects.
The report describes the necessary conditions for control and evaluation of project initiatives to combat negative social inheritance, the barriers the projects run into and the initiatives and areas that should be prioritised in future projects.
