Municipal workplaces take an active part in including people who require special measures in order to develop labour market attachment. This report explores the requirements necessary for inclusion programmes (e.g. on-the-job-training programmes or flex job employment) to be beneficial to both the workplaces and the people who take part in the programmes.
This survey is based on in-depth interviews in three municipalities and at nine different workplaces. Interviews have been carried out with management, HR departments, job-centre employees, trade union representatives, local managers, municipal employees and people who have been in on-the-job training programmes, wage subsidy programmes or who have been hired on a flex job at a municipal workplace, etc.
This survey was commissioned and funded by Local Government Denmark and the Danish Association of Local Government Employee Organisations.
