Labour Market
This report focuses on the role and experience of enterprises in connection with industrial injuries and the subsequent retention process. The report builds on a review of the scientific literature on the area as well as interviews with managers and employees at seven enterprises who have had employees who have suffered an industrial injury.
The report shows that the probability of an injured person retaining attachment to the labour market increases if the person's workplace is involved in the retention processes. The report reviews the most important elements in a successful retention process as they appear in the literature and through interviews. The report also covers the relationships of enterprises with different external players. In this context, job centres are highlighted as important collaboration partners with which enterprises would like closer contact.
