The objective of the project Market Place for Highly Educated Jobseekers is to facilitate contact between highly educated jobseekers and small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in the fringe areas of the Central Denmark Region. The project consists of four specific initiatives and will run from 2008 to 2010.
The report provides an overall evaluation of the project and shows, amongst other things, that the project contributes to finding jobs for more highly educated people in small and medium-sized enterprises. However, there is room for future improvement, and the authors of the report provide a number of suggestions for how the project can be improved.
The study is based on both quantitative data from Statistics Denmark and on interviews from the parties involved in the evaluation. The Central Denmark Region has been commissioned and financed the study.
