This is the sixth sub-report in a series of reports from the dialogue project about how municipalities use preventive measures. This report describes four specific interventions which, in different ways, include preventive measures for 18-22 year-olds.
In the four interventions, the contact persons focus on strengthening and acknowledging the resources of the young people. They also help the young people identify goals and wishes for their lives, e.g. a place to live, education and employment. The interventions also focus on establishing networks for the young people.
The objective of the project is to acquire and systematise knowledge about municipal practices, experience and results in relation to preventive work with vulnerable children and young people. The project is to result in a catalogue of examples of good practice, to be disseminated to municipalities in Denmark, so they will be more qualified to provide relevant support and help to vulnerable children and young people.
The project has been commissioned by the National Board of Social Services and is being conducted by SFI collaboratively with Cowi A/S.
