Review of The National Labour Market Authority Survey on Recruitment

The National Labour Market Authority has hired the consultancy firm Rambøll Management to conduct a survey twice a year on recruitment in Danish enterprises. This review examines and assesses the design of this survey, including design of questionnaires and guidelines, the data collection process, the random sample survey, and data processing. SFI has assessed that overall questionnaires and guidelines are manageable and well-structured. However, there are some linguistic ambiguities which should be rectified, and the guidelines for the interviewers should be edited and clarified to avoid uncertainties and misunderstandings. SFI has also assessed that the random sample is well documented and suitable for the purpose, but recommends that the National Labour Market Authority collaboratively with Rambøll Management extend the possibilities to refine the random sample stratification.
