The significance of different family forms and -traditions for norms, values and agency in a diverse culture

The chapter is included in the anthology 'Lige muligheder - om pædagogens arbejde med køn, seksualitet og mangfoldighed' edited by Margaret Hjerrild. This chapter describes how family structure and family practice in different ways play a role in children's development and well-being. The chapter uses results from 'Liberty, Equality and Community in Teenage family' (doctoral thesis) and 'Children and young people in Denmark 2014' (Ottosen et al, 2014).
