Over the past 10 years, there has been an average pay difference of 20% between and women.
In this anthology, the Danish National Centre for Social Research focuses on pay differences between men and women and the reasons behind these differences.
The anthology has several contributing authors with different backgrounds, e.g. lawyers, economists, sociologists and politologists, who all add their own angle to the subject. The academic traditions of each of the areas represented by the authors add to the understanding of just how complex the discussion about pay differences between men and women is.
The anthology has been commissioned and financed by Sundhedskartellet, the confederation of Danish unions in the healthcare sector.
