This report identifies the proportion of the Danish population aged between 16 and 64 years with a disability or a long-term health problem. In addition to this, the report examines a large number of factors related to the labour market attachment of this group.
The objective of the report is to examine whether and how people with disabilities differ from people without disabilities with regards to employment, transfer incomes, education, reading and writing difficulties, supply of labour and job search, along with time of retirement from the labour market.
Among the topics addressed are the employment and welfare differences between people with or without disabilities, the use of measures as well as employees’ attitudes towards working with people with disabilities.
