Since 1998, SFI - The Danish National Centre for Social Research has conducted an annual review of the social performance of Danish enterprises. The review comprises questionnaire surveys distributed every other year to representatives from enterprises and every other year to employees.
This 15th edition of the yearbook focuses on employee attitudes to the social performance of their workplace. The report covers topics such as what employees think of the policies at their workplace for absenteeism due to sickness and elderly employees, the psychological working environment, as well as their general opinions about marginalised groups at the workplace.
The report concludes that employees' opinions about the inclusive labour market, that is their opinions and experiences regarding retention and new recruitment of marginalised groups, continues to be generally positive, despite current high unemployment figures. Furthermore, the survey describes a positive correlation between measures by a company to retain employees over 60 years-old and the typical retirement age for the company.
