In recent years, the Danish rules on family reunification have been made stricter in a number of ways. These reforms have greatly affected the tendency to marry among young people from immigrant backgrounds. This study paper analyses the changes in the patterns of marriage for this group that took place between the end of the 1990s and 2008.
